Shouldn’t Mess Up with My Hidden Heiress Ex-wife Chapter 74 by HusnaS

74. Good News And Bad News

Zach’s comment caught Kate’s attention. Looking up, a sense of familiarity came to her. Without needing to ask who he was, she said, “Let me guess, you’re Zach Olsen.”

Zach was greatly touched. He let out a laugh and walked over, holding his chest. “Interesting, you even know my name. Are you perhaps one of my ardent fans? Tell me, Beauty. If you’re not a model, you must be a supermodel. Seems like I’ve admired this angelic face on the screen before.”

Even though she was sitting, one couldn’t deny that she was tall. Her striking features had the tendency to be ingrained in one’s mind.

That was probably why Zach had no difficulties in remembering that he’d once seen her on the TV.

“Unfortunately, I’m not one of your female fans.” Kate squared her shoulders, lifting her chin. “Who doesn’t know the notorious Zach Olsen whole loves showering money on ladies?”

“Haha, what can I say? The ladies love to be taken care of. You’re not an exception, are you?” Zach sat beside her, and whispered, “I can even treat you more better than those ladies, you know? You seem so special.”

Kate rolled her eyes and slapped his hand off her arm. “No thanks. Inconsistent men don’t intrigue me. You can take your invitation somewhere else.”

Her words were like a punch in the gut. Zach’s pride was greatly damaged by her blatant rejection. His expression twisted between disbelief and hurt.

“Let me guess, you’re different from other ladies. Who exactly are you?”

“Pft!” Heidi couldn’t hold back her laughter, and Isla hid her face in a corner, laughing secretly.

“Don’t you know Kate?” Heidi shook her head. “Kate Anderson. Have you forgotten who she is?”

“I only know a particular Kate Anderson who’s a supermodel,” Zach murmured, displeased. “I guess she’s the one.”

“Oh, what about the other Kate Anderson?”

Zach scratched his head. “You mean that chubby chick who loved stuffing herself with snacks at kindergarten? Nah! Her entire family vanished, right? Weren’t they a bunch of criminals?”

Heidi parted her lips in disbelief, looking hopeless.

Isla gasped from where she was sitting, and Kate’s bright features darkened immediately.

Zach watched the ladies’ reactions, his mouth forming an ‘Oh’ sound. “Wait, you’re that Kate?” He exclaimed, “Ha! You really are that chubby chick-”

PAK!

Kate smacked him on the cheek. “Zach Olsen, watch your tone. Harold Olsen and his allies are the bunch of criminals. If you ever call me that stupid name again, damnit! I’ll smash your head.”

As the jet took off, there was tension inside.

Zach rubbed his cheek, a surprised look flashing in his eyes. Then he chuckled. ” Did you know a woman has never slapped me before?”

“Is your pride hurt?” Kate scowled. ” Then Oh, I’m so happy!”

“Ms. Anderson, please take it easy.” Isla quickly spoke up to douse the situation.

“Kate is our client, Zach. Can you please leave her alone?” Heidi called out to him, afraid he might destroy their hard work by irking Kate off.

“Of course, I will.” Still rubbing his cheek, Zach gave Kate a meaningful glance, his lips pulling into a smile.

He stood up, snaking his arm around Ruby’s waist.

“Does it hurt, Sweetheart?” Ruby asked, caressing the side of his face.

“Not a bit. Forget it happened.” Zach winked at her, taking her into the private suite inside the plane.

After Zach left, Kate’s manager stared at her with disbelief. “Were you out of your mind? You knew that was Zach Olsen, right?”

“So what?” Kate scoffed. “I’m not interested in his stupid advances. If Zach Olsen gets under my skin the next time, I might do more than just slapping him.”

Heidi and Isla looked at each other.

Isla sighed, relieved that the conflict didn’t escalate.

In Phoenix City, at The Harrisons Mansion.

Grandpa Winston sat on his chair, his pupils constricted, and in his hands were two tablets. He looked from one tablet to another, frowning.

“Master, I have both good news and båd news.” Butler Luke stood behind him, looking conflicted. “And both of them concern the Young Master and the GK Group’s reputation.”

“Tell me, I’m listening,” Grandpa Winston ordered, squinting his eyes to properly view the blurry texts and photos on the screen.
