Shouldn’t Mess Up with My Hidden Heiress Ex-wife Chapter 71 by HusnaS

71. Feeding From Another Woman’s Hand

Inside The Five-Star Restaurant. The staff received Steve, Heidi, Isla, and Kate warmly, eagerly showing them to a wide round table filled with astounding delicacies.

Beluga caviar, kobe beef, truffle risotto, a plate full of waffles, and four glasses of sparkling rosé champagne.

The generous meal reminded Heidi of a particular candlelight dinner that ended up in jeopardy.

“This is too much, Steve. It hasn’t been long since we ate breakfast, I’m full.”

Steve drew out a chair for her, urging her to sit down.

“You only ate two slices of pizza.” He took a plate and picked a small portion of each dish into it. “Eat more, Heidi, then you’ll be energized.”

“My stomach will burst, I guess.” Heidi laughed, and Steve couldn’t help but laugh along.

“I like your humor.”

“Don’t you know, Heidi? We were supposed to go to the Park first, but Steve wants to ensure you fill up your stomach.” Kate was wearing a face mask, but one could imagine her scowling at her brother.

“Ms. Olsen, I’m also not hungry. I ate a whole box of pizza. Mr. Anderson brought us here so you can eat more. Will you turn down his kind gesture?” Isla asked softly.

Heidi didn’t know why, but she had a feeling that Kate and Isla were acting strangely.

Staring at Steve, she shook her head helplessly. “Okay, I’ll eat. Thank you, Steve.”

“It’s my greatest pleasure.”

A loud sound came from the table opposite them. Lucas pulled out a chair forcefully as if intending to grab everyone’s attention.

“Oh, thanks, Honey.” Tracy sat on the chair, her eyes darting to Heidi’s table.

Her heart fumed inside, seeing Lucas’s eyes pinned on Heidi. Was this another coincidence? Or did Lucas know that Heidi would be coming here?

Lucas sat down, directly facing Heidi’s table. He stared straight at her, not blinking once.

“Urgh! It’s that dude again!” Kate groaned. “Heidi, why is he stalking us? If I didn’t see with my own eyes that he loves bullying you, I would think he’s chasing after you.”

“I don’t think Mr. Harrison treated Ms. Olsen well while they were married,” Isla whispered. “He has a mistress and he hangs out with her every time, probably to rub it on Ms. Olsen’s face.”

“Isla!” Heidi exclaimed, surprised at how much information her assistant knew.

“I- I’m so sorry, Ms. Olsen.” Isla lowered her head. “I’ll keep my mouth shut.”

Isla was the kind of person who would meticulously observe everything from a distance. Always acting oblivious, but spilling all secrets whenever she opened her mouth.

Kate shook her head. “Heidi, why didn’t you beat that mistress up? From the looks of it, she’s a cunning bitch. I’m surprised to see her face intact, you know.”

“It must be hard for you.” Steve touched her arm gently. “Marrying a rich man doesn’t guarantee happiness, but marrying a caring one does.”

“Guys, it’s all in the past.” Heidi forced a smile, avoiding Lucas’s creepy gaze which never left her. “Can we stop discussing my failed marriage?”

“As you wish,” Steve agreed. Feeling something soft on her arm, he asked with furrowed brows, “What happened? Did you sustain an injury?”

Heidi blushed suddenly, looking embarrassed. “It’s just a scratch. Not that important.”

Her wound had almost healed. It must have opened up during the intense moment when she’d let her foolish self wallow in Lucas’s seduction.

If Isla hadn’t pointed it out in the morning, she wouldn’t have even known.

“Lucas, what would you like us to order?” To drag the man’s attention, Tracy called out to him, gently dropping her palm on his hand.

“Anything.” His reply was almost incoherent. His gaze didn’t shift from Heidi.

A staff appeared before them with the menu, and Tracy ordered some dishes, her scrutinizing eyes not missing the way Heidi’s expression shifted uncomfortably under Lucas’s intense gaze.

Swallowing a sudden lump in her throat, Tracy handed the menu back with shaky fingers.

Very soon, the dishes arrived.

“Lucas, I remember you like Lobster brique with a spread of cognac cream. This one is very good.”

Tracy served the dishes on a plate, carefully placing it in front of him.

Lucas didn’t budge. His pupils constricted as Steve cut a piece of beef into slices in a meticulous manner.

He picked one slice with a fork and leveled it to Heidi’s lips.

Heidi became more embarrassed. “I can do it. You don’t have to.”

“Your arm is hurt. Moving your hand will strain the muscles and increase the pain.” Steve’s explanation made sense, but Heidi could manage well.

“As I’ve told you, it’s just a scratch. You worry too much, don’t you?” Heidi smiled and took the fork.

“Haha, why don’t you let him feed you, Heidi.” Kata laughed sarcastically. From the looks of it, a particular table is bubbling with pink bubbles,” she said, intentionally referring to the opposite table.

“Ms. Olsen,” Isla whispered. “It’s obvious that Mr. Harrison’s mistress is trying to make you jealous. Why don’t you get back at her the same way?”

“Guys, stop it.” Heidi sighed. “We can’t stoop to her level, right?”

“Tracy, my hands hurt!” Lucas made his voice loud and clear.

Tracy laughed softly and took the utensils. “In that case, let me feed you, Honey.”

Forgetting her own hunger, Tracy was over the moon, feeding Lucas Harrison with her own hands.

Lucas’s eyes remained fixed on Heidi as he chewed every piece of dish Tracy put into his mouth.

Heidi’s fists clenched under the table.

“Damnit! If I was in your shoes, I would rip that girl’s hair out,” Kate gritted out.

“She is truly treacherous.” Isla blew out a sigh. “They’re clearly doing this to hurt Ms. Olsen’s feelings.”

Heidi tried to focus on her food, but she’d completely lost her appetite.

With Lucas’s deep gaze on her, and the sinister look flashing in his eyes, it was as if he was telling her the words:

‘Heidi, you’re a fool.’

Not long ago, she was under him, lost in pleasure. But now, he was feeding from another woman’s hand, giving her a sardonic smirk.
