Shouldn’t Mess Up with My Hidden Heiress Ex-wife Chapter 67 by HusnaS

67. He’s Out to Crush Her Again and Again

A stunned silence lingered.

Heidi paused and stared at him in shock, her chest heaving up and down. Her ponytail loosened, and a portion of her hair cascaded down the side of her face. As she breathed heavily, her lips parted slightly, her wide milky eyes staring back at him.

Starkly aware of their proximity, and feeling a particular soft flesh pressed against his hard chest, a breath of air escaped from his lips and his throat dried up.

Heidi’s heartbeat was a mess, her chest thumping nonstop. As Lucas reached up with his hand and pulled a hair strand behind her ear, letting his fingers graze the side of her neck, a strange sensation coursed down her system, igniting flames inside her.

Their heartbeats were prominent.

He wrapped all his fingers behind her nape, pulling her head down, while using his other hand, which was on her waist, to press her close to him.

When their lips touched, sparks exploded.

Heidi lost sense of reality. As Lucas sucked the air out of her, lavishing her lips, the flames consumed her whole and she responded with the same desperation, throwing both arms around his neck. 1

A soft moan echoed inside the living room.

Lucas was like a hungry beast, ready to devour her. While his tongue explored, so did his hands.

The tension rose high and the sound of ragged breathings accompanied the slight moans.

Lucas flipped her over on the couch, towering above her. He traced kisses down her neck, sucking a sensitive spot on her nape, while his palm traveled inside her shirt, pulling the soft fabric up-

Then something cracked.

Heidi’s back must have hit the remote as a loud sound blarred inside the living room.

“Breaking News: That is a great piece of news coming from the Harrison Household. Lucas Harrison’s engagement with Tracy Carlson is bound to happen in three days. Haha, who doesn’t like to throw a few several parties before their wedding? As the couple have already announced their wedding, I have to say the Harrison Household is generous.”

After the reporter’s voice died down, a deafening silence descended.

Staring at the man with widened eyes, Heidi’s slightly red lips parted in disbelief, her eyes watering up involuntarily.

“Damnit! Lucas.” She pushed him away, hitting his chest. “Taking advantage of me whenever you please, do you think I’m a fool? A tool you can use as you please? You’re not only a scumbag, you’re the biggest jerk in history.”

Heidi blamed herself. She blamed herself for getting seduced, and she felt like the biggest fool for allowing herself to get lost in the moment.

“Just so you know, we have nothing to do with each other. Stop stalking me for goodness sake!” Heidi sniffed back her tears, battling the humiliation and glaring as hard as she could.

“Heidi, wait!”

Lucas’s words faded, because Heidi had already grabbed her phone and left.

He cursed inside his mind, running a hand through his hair, the pained look in her eyes making him uncomfortable. A look of regret flashed in his eyes.

Lucas’s eyes strayed to the TV and his expression darkened tremendously. He grabbed his phone, dialed a number, and barked into it, “Who the hell published that news? Take it down this instant!”

Heidi jogged back to Kate’s Villa, her lips pursed and a gloomy air hanging around her.

Inside the living room, Isla and Kate were sitting on the same couch, facing each other.

The moment Heidi walked in, they both rushed over.

“Are you alright? You don’t look good. You took so long, Heidi. What did that man do to you?” Kate bombarded her with questions.

Heidi shook her head, controlling her anger. “I got my phone back.” She showed them the phone.

“Ms. Olsen, your arm is bleeding,” Isla pointed out.

Kate gasped and went frantic. “Heidi, did he hurt you? I’ve heard rumors about Lucas Harrison which aren’t so settling. People say he’s as mighty as a mountain and crushes all who cross him. Tell me he didn’t inflict any injury on you.”

“How do you know he’s Lucas Harrison?” Heidi asked, thinking; the description perfectly matched him well.

Lucas had definitely crushed her, and he was out to crush her again and again.

She’d be damned to let him make a fool out of her ever again.
