Shouldn’t Mess Up with My Hidden Heiress Ex-wife Chapter 116 by HusnaS

116. Get Married As Soon As Possible

“Why’s it locked?” Heidi pulled at the door’s handle, panicking. “Quick, bring me the keys.”

“What’s wrong, Young Madam.” Mira’s expression turned sad. “Are you planning to leave? I- I thought the Young Master said you’ve reconciled. Aren’t you back for good?”

“To hell with reconciliation!” Heidi looked baffled, thinking she’d underestimated that man.

Who would ever think that Lucas Harrison would resort to kidnapping her?

“Quick, bring me the keys. I have to get out of this place, Mira!”

Remembering what Lucas had done to Zach, Heidi wasn’t sure of Zach’s fate. Was he in a worse situation?

“I- I don’t have the keys,” Mira explained. “The Young Master must have locked the house with a new password. I didn’t know that he locked us up until I wanted to take food to the security man.”

“Oh no!” Heidi groaned out loud, staring up at the ceiling helplessly and pacing back and forth.

“Madam, why don’t you want to stay?” Mira approached her. “Don’t you know that the Young Master has been missing you a lot? He rarely eats his food and spends a great deal of the nighttime standing on the balcony.”

Heidi didn’t want to hear about Lucas’s weird habits. She just wanted to leave the place.

“You have to stay, Young Madam, please.” Mira stared at her pleadingly. ” It isn’t only the Young Master that misses you. It is so lonely to be here when you’re not around.”

Heidi sat on the couch, tapping her feet impatiently. “Wait! I’ll climb down the *balcony.” An idea hit her and she ran for the stairs.

Mira’s eyes widened, hearing that. ” Please be careful, Madam. The balcony is too high!”

She followed Heidi to the balcony and found her staring down with a disappointed look.

Heidi cursed Lucas again in her mind. The sun was going down and it was almost evening.

She had to see Zach. She had to return to StriveStyle Co.

“Please calm down, Young Madam. Wait for the Young Master to come back.”

Mira continued pleading with her to stay, but there were so many thoughts in Heidi’s mind.

Suddenly, the gates opened and someone familiar stepped into the Villa.

Because the security man had left his post to buy food in a nearby neighborhood, no one was there to stop the man from entering.

“Steve- Steve, I’m here!” Heidi called out, waving her hand.

“Who is that person?” Mira frowned.

“My savior!” It was as if Heidi had been wandering through a dark long tunnel, finally finding a savior. She called out again, “Lucas has me locked up with strong security. Please get me out!”

Steve sighed in relief, seeing Heidi safe and sound.

He went back outside, brought a laptop out of his car, and hacked into the Villa’s security.

The sounds of the alarms went off inside the Villa and all the doors opened up by themselves.

Heidi didn’t waste a second inside, and she rushed out of the gates, ignoring Mira who was telling her to come back.

“Oh Steve, you’re a lifesaver.” Heidi jumped inside his car and he drove out of the neighborhood. “How did you find me?” She asked.

“Kate told me,” Steve replied, his eyes on the road. “He didn’t hurt you, did he?”

Heidi shook her head. “He didn’t. I hope Zach is alright.”

“I think so. Kate is probably still with him.”

Heidi let out a huge sigh of relief and rested her head on the seat’s headrest, letting her eyes close.

At the back of her mind, one question popped up. How did Steve find his way to Lucas Harrison’s Villa?

Steve studied her expression silently, a worried look flashing in his eyes. ”

Heidi, are you alright?” He asked.

Heidi opened one eye and nodded tiredly.

“I heard about what happened,” Steve added. “That was too selfish of your uncle. I hope you won’t give up, Heidi.”

“If I give up, Harold Olsen will never learn his lesson. He did the same thing to Dad, I won’t let him defeat me.”

Steve smiled at her resolve. “That’s the spirit. Heidi, you’re not alone. I will help you fight Harold Olsen.”

Heidi smiled at him gratefully. “If that’s the case, I wonder how I’ll be able to repay you.”

Heidi said it in a light tone, almost jovial.

But Steve didn’t take her words lightly. He parked the car on the roadside and stared at her seriously. “How about you agree to my proposal? If possible, I want us to get married as soon as possible.”
