Shouldn’t Mess Up with My Hidden Heiress Ex-wife Chapter 11 by HusnaS

11. Fire Her Immediately

Heidi’s brow furrowed slightly. She had just left StriveStyle Co. What had transpired in her absence? Could Zach be exaggerating?

Slipping her phone into her bag, she shot a glance at Lucas. Her eyes caught the bulge in his pants, and she stifled a gasp before letting out a snicker.

“Mr. Harrison, I can see that your impotence is finally cured.”

On the excuse that he was in convalescence, the man had never been intimate with her. It was the same excuse he used for his grandfather, who kept demanding great-grandkids.

“Shut up,” Lucas retorted, his eyes darting to his arousal. He dared her with his eyes to say more. “Who told you I’m impotent?”

“Tsk.” Heidi shook her head and then left.

When she arrived at StriveStyle Co., Zach’s words had almost slipped her mind until she heard the commotion coming from the office.

“Master Aiden, please calm down, Ms. Olsen isn’t here.”

“Ah! Please don’t break that, Ma’am Lilian. Those are expensive.”

The employees were in a frenzy, and Heidi walked in to witness Aiden and Lilian making a mess of the place.

“How dare she!?” Lilian seethed. “Who does she think she is, firing people as she pleases?”

“Heidi is thinking too highly of herself. Just because she was given this place to manage, does she think she can boss everyone around?” Aiden kicked the desk while walking back and forth.

The siblings’ anger boiled over when they saw Heidi enter.

“What is the meaning of this!” Aiden pointed to the papers piled up on the desk. “Heidi, who do you think you are to make such stupid decisions?”

“Heidi!” Lilian came forward, her eyes red with anger. “Do you even know what you are about to do? I swear if you don’t destroy these papers immediately, you’re going to regret it.”

Those papers were none other than the lists of the employees to be fired and the bills of the expenses to be cut out. Heidi had spent the whole day sorting them out and had fished out the bad eggs one by one.

Unfazed by Aiden and Lilian’s outburst, Heidi maintained her composure.

“Come on, everyone!” Zach walked inside with an exasperated look. “Now, everyone, please come out. We have an emergency meeting.”

The board of directors had arrived out of nowhere and demanded a meeting. Even Zach, who was the president of the Group, had to be forced to attend.

“I’ve told you, Brother. Heidi isn’t fit for this position, whether it’s StriveStyle Co. or any other company under AG Group.”

“Hey, leave Heidi alone. Let’s hear what others are going to say,” Zach replied dismissively.

Zach came to Heidi’s side, sighing. “It seems you are in a hot bubbling soup, Princess.”

“What happened?”

“Well, they happened.” Zach nodded toward his siblings as they walked to the conference room. “While you were fishing out the bad eggs, did you even check the names properly?”

“Ugh, seriously?” Heidi’s lips twitched. “Was I supposed to?”

“Not necessarily, but I have a bad feeling about what’s going to happen in there.”

Zach’s warning echoed in Heidi’s mind as they entered the conference room.

Immediately, one of the board of directors stood up from his chair and pointed at Heidi.

“Mr. Olsen, I demand you fire her immediately. Having such a person as the CEO will never solve the problems of StriveStyle Co. On the other hand, she is going to bring the whole AG Group down.”

“That is right!” Another middle-aged man stood up. “As the President of AG Group, you shouldn’t overlook such things. What makes her think that she can just fire anyone?”

“And those influencers she wants us to stop working with. How the hell is that not going to spoil this company’s name!” Aiden chipped in. “Have you forgotten those influencers have thousands of angry fans!?”

“Everyone knows that CrystalHearts Fashion Home produces the best designer wear. Heidi, why do you want us to stop working with them?” Lilian folded her hands. “Aren’t you being too impulsive?”

“We understand that this young lady is just trying to prove herself. However, we can’t tolerate this, Mr. Olsen. You have to fire her immediately; otherwise, StriveStyle Co. and AG Group as a whole are going to go down!”
