Shouldn’t Mess Up with My Hidden Heiress Ex-wife Chapter 100 by HusnaS

100. Showing Up By Herself

“If she isn’t a kid, why does she keep acting like one? One moment, she says she’s over that heartless boy, and the next moment she causes a scandal with him. Do you know that Heidi was in Zach’s Villa with him and his mistress last night? Don’t you know that she ended up in the hospital again?”

A big frown formed on Caleb’s face and Heidi gasped at her mother’s revelation.

“Don’t look so shocked.” Regina glowered. “From the moment Zach called and asked for your whereabouts, I knew something was wrong. I had the surveillance footage of LuxVille Residential Area checked; One of the doctors who attended to you is also a good friend of mine.”

“You can’t blame me, Mum. Wasn’t I a victim?”

Hearing her mother’s explanation, Heidi knew that the reason why her mother didn’t reveal it in front of Grandpa Jeffery was because of Zach getting into trouble.

“You’re not the victim, the AG Group is. Whenever you get involved with Lucas Harrison, who always takes the blow?”

“It is the AG Group,” Caleb seconded his wife’s statement.

“So, you see,” Regina continued. “You are always involved with your ex- husband for unclear reasons.”

“Remember what I’ve told you!” Grandpa Jeffrey’s voice suddenly boomed from upstairs. “No matter what happens, Heidi, you can no longer be with that boy. You’d better put an end to this soon.”

Heidi’s already dampened mood became worse, feeling attacked from all sides.

“Hmph!” Regina huffed and walked away.

Caleb gave her a disapproving look and followed his wife.

As for Grandpa Jeffery, he also went back to his room, looking angry. The large living room was now empty and Heidi stood alone, hugging the flower vase close to her chest.

For a few minutes, she didn’t move from the spot, her eyes shining with tears that refused to fall.

“Lucas Harrison…” she gritted her teeth. That heartless man wouldn’t let her be in peace even after shattering her heart.

For attempting to destroy the AG Group, could she also let him rest peacefully?

But how to get back at Lucas?

Maybe she should warn him to leave the AG Group alone. Or maybe she should just report him to Grandpa Winston.

When The Evening Came,

Heidi dressed up and left the mansion. No one was around to stop her as the family didn’t gather for dinner.

Harold and his family were in their quarters, and Heidi’s parents were mad at her. While Grandpa Jeffery chased away everyone who dared summon him downstairs.

“Young Miss, there has never been such kind of unrest in the family before,” John spoke as he drove her to the Olsens Mansion. “Things keep getting worse between the AG Group and GK Group. Even the servants are beginning to worry.”

“Let your mind be at ease,” Heidi assured him. “Nothing will happen to AG Group.”

“I hope so.” John sighed. “I Heard that you’re doing a good job managing that brand well. Once you become the CEO of the whole AG Group, I am certain things will turn around.”

“Let’s hope things turn out in our favor.”

Heidi wasn’t boastful, and she couldn’t say yes or no to the driver’s assumptions.

Besides, with Lucas Harrison serving as a huge obstacle, it was going to be pretty hard reviving the AG Group.

Bringing out her phone which was almost unrecognizable due to being crushed inside her bag, Heidi retrieved the sim card and inserted it into a new phone.

Instantly, the screen lit up with so many message notifications from Isla. But they were all good news.

Instead of replying to each text, Heidi decided to dial her assistant.

“Ms. Olsen, I’ve been trying your number since morning. So many models want to book an appointment, and Ms. Anderson demands one thing. She wants to organize a dinner party. Tomorrow’s also a weekend, will you be available?”

“Uhm, yeah,” Heidi replied distractedly as the car finally arrived in front of the Olsens Mansion.

After hanging up, she left the car and turned to the driver. “I’m afraid I might take a bit long, John. You can go back first.”

“What if the Old Master asks of your whereabouts?” John looked worried.

Heidi smiled sadly, shaking her head. ” Grandpa Jeffrey’s in a bad mood. I don’t think he’ll notice that I’m not around.”

“Please be careful, Young Miss.” John bid her goodbye then took a reverse and left.

Heidi took in a deep breath, standing in front of the huge mansion.

The security men immediately let her in, and she headed to Grandpa Winston’s quarters.

Strangely, Grandpa Winston was pacing back and forth in the living room with Butler Luke standing in a corner.

When they both saw Heidi walk in, it was as if they’d seen a speck of light in a long dark tunnel.

“Heidi- Heidi, you’re here!” Grandpa Winston was beyond happy. He pulled her forward and hugged her. “This old man almost had a heart attack when he heard that Lucas Harrison is bullying another man because of you again.”

Of course, Grandpa Winston almost had a heart attack due to being too excited.

He had been thinking up ways to summon Heidi to the mansion, not knowing that she’d show up by herself.
